Our Story
It all started with chapped lips and a couple of empty lip balm tubes.
My wife noticed that anytime she skipped her usual balm, her lips would burn until she put more on. That didn’t sit right with me. So I grabbed a little travel container, filled it with shea butter, and gave it to her to try.
She didn’t just like it, she loved it.
The only problem was digging product out with a finger isn’t exactly glamorous. So I cleaned out a few old lip balm tubes, melted down some shea butter, and poured it in. Simple. Pure. And honestly, way better than I expected.
Then I started giving them to friends and family. They all had the same reaction: “Why isn’t this already a thing?”
That sent me down a rabbit hole, and sure enough, I couldn’t find a single lip balm online that was just shea butter. And since I’ve always made my own natural personal care products, it felt like the nudge I needed.
So here we are.
